My Book Review of Kensuke's Kingdom

I have been reading a book called Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. It,s all about a boy Michel who falls off his family,s boat and washes up on a strange island . Then he meets Kensuekie who teaches him to hunt and fish. They both paint and Kensuke tells storys of when he was in the war. In the end Michel is reunited with his mom and dad. I recommend it to people who love sailing. I liked it because it had an adventure of a lost boy and would give it four trees. I think the author could have done a better job writing the book. I think he made it a better book if he had spent more time writing it.

  1. Nice Maddy! I liked the summary!

Here are some of my suggestions:

    1. You do not have any capitals at the beginning of your sentences. "its", "then", "they", and "in" should all be capitalized.
    2. You have a lot of typos. For example the word strange is spelled wrong in strange island. Also "its" in the beginning of your summary should be it's.
    3. You should tell your opinion of the book and back it up with evidence from the book.
    4. You should give advice to the author on things he could improve.
    5. You should have a conclusion paragraph.
    6. You should put in how many trees you would give the book somewhere in your post.

    Good job!!
